Orientation of Yoga – Foundation Course
1) Asana (Yoga Postures) – Some key poses for an essential Yoga practice, including how to adapt and modify your practice.
2) Philosophy of Yoga – introduction to yogic philosophy and lifestyle, how to integrate this into your day to day life
3) Pranayama & Mantra – introduction to building up a regular pranayama (breathing techniques) practice and simple key mantras.
4) Meditation – Guidance on how to create a regular practice, and ways to support the body and mind
5) The Art of Letting Go – relaxation techniques, that will help you build up a regular practice of Savasana
You have up to 35 hours coaching with instructor, plus 25 hours non-class hours, which includes self practice, attending classes on recorded modules, or workshops, and completing mini assignments.
